Hi All I want to port Android on Freescale iMX35 which is now running on Linux 2.6.31. I want to know which Android framework version and which Android kernel version should I chose to port? I have downloaded Android Froyo version and trying to cross-compile Android-2.6.39 kernel. Is building it first required or I should first apply it as a patch to Linux 2.6.31 kernel and then cross compile. Since I am new to Android, how would version difference Android framework source and android kernel source affect porting?
