Hello,

I am just about to begin play around android ROMs so please excuse me if
questions are wrong.

I bought a nice book about porting android "Embedded Android". I also
bought a non-name cheap tablet I would like to change.
As far as understood to build a ROM you need AOSP sources and the Linux
kernel (and HAL) binaries form device manufacturer.
Please note building for my LG mobile was easy - I just follow
http://source.android.com/source/building-devices.html (extract binaries to
appropriate folders) and it worked.
My question is for the no name device in general - what should I do - ask
vendor to provide binaries or I can extract from device (already rooted).

Thank you very much!
