Hi everyone, I'm currently trying to port AOSP to a device already running Android (though not AOSP), and I need a little help to do so.
Said device configuration is pretty generic overall (uses Snapdragon S600 and qcom hardware), and there is kernel source available from manufacturer. My problem is that kernel source from manufacturer is for Android 4.1.2 and I would like to have 4.4.2. Also, there is no device configuration (android_device_manufacturer_model) so I created them myself. What do I need to do to port 4.1.2 kernel sources to 4.4.2? Are there things to update, to modify, and so on?
