Hey there. I am trying to port 3.4 CAF kernel to hTC Incredible S, but I am having a problem. I don't know how to get the serial number of my hTC device. I looked into the original kernel of the device, and it is using a module in drivers/usb/gadget/htc_attr.c, but it looks very complicated.
I just want to ask if there is an easier way of getting the device's serial number? If someone knows how the htc_attr.c module works to get the serial number then please explain it to me.
