First, sorry for my new thread on JB App Encryption. I knew there was a
mail thread to discuss this. Thanks for the contributors' ideas! I hope the
new thread could draw a reply from Googlers.
To Google security team,
Could you please give us some details on this topic?
1. Where is the device-specific key? How to protect it? How to provision it?
2. Would you please post a flow chart between server (Google Play) and
clients?
3. Is the encryption integrated into DRM framework Android? Or it is a
specific flow on the devices?
4. If compromised, is there any role to revoke it? Does/will Android
support device management?
5. Is there GTS/CTS cases which covers this certification?
6. Anything you could share to us.
