Has anyone managed to solve this problem? I think it's a big issue. I'm
also stuck on that and cannot access to my +30GB photos/videos.

My setup and how I got to that is a little different but the result is the
same... Below the postI have sent to Samsung / Samsung Forum:

Last week, I have faced a severe SD card encryption / decryption issue on
my Samsung Galaxy S3 (international model), running on Android 4.1.2
(Build Number: JZ054K.I9300XXEMC2). I need urgent help from a Samsung
developer to save my +30GB personal data on my SD card...

The steps of the problem state (easily reproducable) are following:

- First I have set the "SD card encryption" when a SD card with my personal
data was already mounted and accessible. Here I choose the 'Full
encryption' option (from the builtin "Security/SD card encryption"
functionality of Samsung S3) after setting a password for the lock screen.
Encryption went well. No problems. so far. I could restart my phone couple
of times and after a short SD card decrypting message, I could access my
files in the SD card.

- After some days, I wanted to deactivate the password protection for
display lock for a short while. But when the SD card is decrypted, the
other lock options were greyed out. So I simply unmounted (over Android) my
SD card, deactivated SD card encryption and chose swipe as lock screen
option. So far so good.

- After a while I restarted my phone and Android mounted the SD card but...
Without decryption/encryption. nothing. And my files are not accessible
again. They are listed in the file system (I can see them in Android and
also Windows FS) but the content is still encrypted and Android does not
know what to do with it.

I tried to set the same password for locking but the problem is the phone
OS does not understand that the SD card is encrypted and does not try to
decrypt it.

At this point, how can I rescue my files, i.e. decrypt the SD card content
again. Do you have or can you recommend any tools?
