I am pretty much coming from a non-developer background but willing to learn if somebody can just point me in the right direction. I noticed that on my prefered/favourite Android 4.4 based ROM I get the following logcat error when trying to encrypt my phone:
E/Cryptfs ( 1889): Orig filesystem overlaps crypto footer region. Cannot encrypt in place. I tried contacting the developers via their bug tracking but only got told it is not implemented with no indication weather it will be looked at.
