Hi, all,
now that the cartridge system has begun to exist, we should all roll up
our sleeves to produce a new release: 2.0.1beta. The date is clear:
April 25, 2003, the publication date of the ObjektSpektrum magazine
article ("MDA de-mystified") which mentions AndroMDA.
What I'd like to have in that release:
1) Clear definition of the new stereotypes and tagged values.
2) A car rental system sample that uses the new stereotypes and tagged
values.
3) The EJB and Struts cartridges adapted to the new stereotypes and
tagged values.
4) The JDO cartridge.
5) The Hibernate cartridge.
6) Updated project wizard with cartridges selectable by the user.
7) More docs on the website that clarify the progress since UML2EJB.
8) Ralf's regression tests in place, distributed over the cartridges.
So, now I need volunteers:
* Ming Fai, what about the JDO templates? Ready to put them into a
cartridge and test?
* I sign up for 1) and 5) and a few web pages about the cartridge system
itself.
* Stefan: Could you do 2) and 3) i.e. replace the stereotype names in
the UML model and the existing cartridges?
* Ralf: Are you still there and able to support point 8) above?
* Who signs up for the other tasks?
Please raise your hands and tell me what you can do!
