Andrey,

Your ideas are very welcome, I think it is best we bundle our efforts on the same cartridge, rather than work in parallel on different ones.
The main thing to focus on here are the features that will be put in the cartridge, the actual implementation is not relevant at this point,... so if you see I am missing some features you think should be in there, please let me know... this kinda feedback is very important

I have spent considerable time already on the struts cartridge (the one using processes of course) thinking about the best way to generate sources for the user, ease of modeling ... for that reason I think it is most efficient that I will commit an early version in CVS as soon as possible so you can check it out and give comments if you will

I think I can do that for the end of this month, the acual release would be in April/May or something... that includes proper testing and documentation, I will try to be a month ahead on schedule... but you never know :-)

FYI, I have a version on my local machine here at home and the implementation using MMDs is almost finished, the templates are also 85% if not 95% finished
so I guess it won't be long :-) it is just a matter on decising how to provide which features to the user, quite important for user-friendlyness

kind regards
Wouter.

ps: AndroMDA 3 --> May 2004

Hello Wouter,

Thanks a lot for the response,
actually the way I have changed AndroMDA + available Struts cartridge
allows you to generate the Struts related staff also, it also allows
to implement inheritance with StrutsAction and StrutsForms that
sometimes might be useful; provides a possibility to adjust some
parameters that were fixed in original Struts cartridge.

May be because of the fact that is was never public, I started
creation of my own. I have checked out bpm4struts sources from cvs, and
I can say that some ideas overlap with yours.

I am wondering whether it makes sense to make improvements in my
project so that it might be used afterwards with new AndroMDA 3.

Btw, do we have any schedule when release 3 will be?
