Subject: [Andromda-devel] Milestone planning

Hi folks,

Wouter is absolutely right: We need visible milestones! I'd like to
suggest them as follows:

1. Maven build in place, directory structure completely settled.

-- This should be done hopefully this weekend, if not, then early next week.

2. Join to HEAD branch completed.
3. andromda-meta and bpm4struts: code and docs complete.
4. car-rental-system: code complete and changed to use bpm4struts.
5. May 5th: Alpha release with bpm4struts and animal-quiz.
6. May 13th: Demo at JAX 2004 in Frankfurt.
7. Documentation complete.
8. Beta release.
9. Final release of AndroMDA 3.0.

Later, we'll add the OCL stuff, Rational Rose (UML 1.3) support and
model based refactoring. But that will be a different story.

-- Yes sounds good, I'm exciting about adding the OCL translation
capabilities :)

Milestone 5 would force milestones M1 to M4 to occur before May 5th.
Chad and Wouter, do you think this is possible for you to achieve? Could

-- Yes I think its possible, I think most of it will be bug fixing, testing
and documentation writing for me after 1 is complete.

you give me dates for M1-M4?

Cheers...
Matthias
