no, this is not the task of MDR. I would prefer not to convert to UML 1.4
automatically.

I prefer the real UML 1.3 support because that will enable AndroMDA to be
used with Rational Rose, too (Rational Rose with the Unisys XMI Plugin
also uses UML 1.3).

I think, the real UML 1.3 support would be easier to develop because
transforming from one metamodel to another is complex.
