Hi all,

at the moment, I dig through a huge pile of paper: the QVTMerge
proposal:

http://www.omg.org/cgi-bin/apps/doc?ad/05-03-02.pdf

It's 191 pages long and contains a lot of material to digest. I am
about to find out what it would mean for AndroMDA if we implemented
the spec, now that it has found so many supporters:

Adaptive, Alcatel, UMTP, Compuware, DSTC, IBM, Interactive Objects,
Kennedy Carter, Softeam, Sun Microsystems, Tata Consultancy Services,
Thales, TNI-Valiosys, Artisan Software, CEA, France Telecom, INRIA,
King's College London, LIFL, Sodifrance, University of Paris VI,
University of York, Xactium, Codagen Technologies Corp

While I am "eating" the document, I keep my results posted to a
Confluence page that you may read if you're interested:

http://confluence.andromda.org/display/DEVEL/Model+to+model+transformation+in+general

Why am I doing this?

Model transformations are a basis for change propagation from model to
code. I want to have queries and transformations as close to the OMG
standards as I can get to populate PSM objects that will be recorded
for change propagation. The concept of change propagation is being
described on the other Confluence page:

http://confluence.andromda.org/display/DEVEL/Change+propagation+from+model+to+code

If you have any comments, feel free to add them using "Add Comment" at
the bottom of the Confluence pages.

Cheers...
Matthias
