Achim Hügen commented on CORE-94:
---------------------------------

My machine is a notebook with 1,3 Ghz Intel Centrino Processor and 512 MB on
Windows XP.

I noticed that the server scans the complete Magicdraw/profiles folder which I
added to the moduleSearchLocations.
Although only 2 files are actually used.

I increased the loadInterval setting to reduce cpu load a little bit.

>
> I started the server with "maven start-andromda-server".
> While waiting for changes in the model or for a request to generate the
> server consumes up to 50% of my CPU power.
> The call to Engine.loadModelsIfNecessary seems to be quite expensive. Could
> it depend on the number of profiles in the model (4, in my case)?
