DataTypes for Enterprise Architect
----------------------------------

         Key: MISC-48
         URL: http://jira.andromda.org/browse/MISC-48
     Project: Miscellaneous
        Type: Improvement

 Environment: Enterprise Architect 6.5; UML 1.4;
andromda-profile-datatype-3.2-SNAPSHOT
    Reporter: Eric Crutchfield
 Assigned to: Wouter Zoons
    Priority: Minor
 Attachments: Convert_EA_XMI.xsl

Enterprise Architect does not include all datatypes from the AndroMDABase.eap
project when exporting the XMI. This will cause model validation to fail in
some cases if the datatype for the identifier is not modeled. To resolve this,
load the attached XSL file into Enterprise Architect and use it when exporting
the XMI.

Process:
In EA, create your model using the AndroMDABase.eap project (found in issue
MISC-35).
Go to the "resources" view and right click on "Stylesheets".
Select "Import Stylesheet" and select the file attached to this issue. Enter a
unique value (e.g. AndroMDA) when prompted for the ID.
Next, select the package that you want to export in the Project Browser and hit
Ctrl-Alt-E.
>From the Export Package to XMI screen, do the following:
  enter the export filename
select "AndroMDA" from the stylesheet drop-down
  uncheck "Enable full EA roundtrip"
select UML 1.4 (XMI 1.2) from the XML Type drop-down
uncheck Export Diagrams, Unisys/Rose format, Exclude EA Tagged Values,
Generate Diagram Images
check Format XMI Output, Write Log File, Use DTD

Click Export.
