Hello,

I'm having the exact same problem as Lofi and am trying to follow the thread you have started but am a little confused. I am building my own cartridge and am using poseidon. Right now when I launch the maven jar:jar goal, the necessary java files are not being generated. I guess this is because it cannot find the UMLMetafacadeModel-3.0M2-SNAPSHOT.xml.zip link (since it cannot be specified in Poseidon right?). Is there a workaround? If so could you please describe it in details?

Otherwise, I have downloaded MagicDraw just to see how it was modelized and cannot see the link to the UMLMetafacadeModel url. Where is this specified?

Thanks,

François

Yeah, I could ask them but anyway I don't think
that they will change their roadmap just because
an Open Source user like me :-)

Well actually I think a lot of people would really like that feature in poseidon...its really great to have especially when you need to multiple people working on different parts of the model etc. I would still ask them anyway. I'm sure they want to know what users want :)

<Chad>

the only way....you can update the model by
importing
through Poseidon right...then you'd probably just
need
to clean it up....a pain I know.

But no other ways... I can only hope that the
structure
of the UMLMetafacadeModel won't change a lot...
One or more methods / parameters would be ok, but...
(I'm coming now to my last question)...

* my last question ;-) *
What is the chance that the structure of the
UMLMetafacadeModel
will change in the future (totally)? I mean, for the
UML 1.4
Metamodel, would be actually already stable, right?
The only problem, is that if I want upgrade to UML
2.0
Metamodel, correct? But still I can use the UML 1.4
Metamodel?

I'm working with students and beginners, so it is
quite hard
for them if they need to work with 2 different UML
tools
just to learn MDA with AndroMDA :-) And MagicDraw
Community
Edition is not complete (only class diagram)... So
at the
moment I don't have any other solutions except
Poseidon.

Thanks a lot for your time, Chad, I really
appreciate it!
