Hello,

another question related to Enterprise Architect 4.1
by Sparx System ...

This one relates to OCL.

-----8<-------8<-------8<-------8<------8<-----
Q: Is it possible to annotate OCL constraints to
an operation? Or speaking more generically -
Is it possible to add OCL constraints to any
model element?

A: Constraints can be entered as OCL or natural
language. However, there is no automatic checking
against OCL constraints: it is something we are
considering, but we have no plans to introduce
it in the short term.
----->8------->8------->8------->8------>8-----

Checking to me means, a expression will be
evaluated to figure out whether it is valid or
not. I think this wouldn't be a problem, no?

Hello Daniel,

thanks a lot for this information.

IMO, one stereotype per model element is really a bad constraint
for general MDA development. As you cannot apply different DSLs
(Domain Specific Language) within one UML model... Would be nice
if you can add this characteristic in your UML tools list :-)
