Can you please CC the andromda-user list…you’ll probably get faster help that way and others can benefit from the information.  Check the Hibernate cartridge docs for the index and unique constraint information: http://www.andromda.org/andromda-hibernate-cartridge/modeling.html

Dear Chad,

How do I specify Index and Unique constraints.

Also, can I make foreign key as the primary key in the referenced table?.

Thanks,

Nitin.

Chad Brandon <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote:

You just need to specify the multiplicity of the attribute as 0..1

Dear Chad,

Can you please tell me: what should i do if i want to specify a column as null allowed for hibernate?. Currently it is generating all columns as "non-null=true".

Thanks,

Nitin.

Ah cool, Im glad you found it, yes types in the datatype package must be of type DataType.

Dear Chad,

Thanks for looking into my request. However I was able to resolve the problem.

It was because I had created a "datatype" class and had made all the types as a part of that "datatype" class (which made all my datatype.xxxx as Actors). I suppose andromda required the types of type "datatype" and does not accept Actors. Hence it was giving errors.

Thanks once again.

Nitin.

Please kindly advise.

Thankyou,

Nitin.

PS: I'm using Poseidon CE 3.0 for modeling and Ant tool. Also i've just generating Hibernate classes.

Subject: [Andromda-user] Again the $attribute.type.fullyQualifiedHibernateType error

Hi all,

I've been trying many many things since past 4 days to get my model to work. But i keep on getting the following errors

Velocity reference exception : $attribute.type.fullyQualifiedHibernateType not a valid reference

I'm using Andromda 3.0M3-SNAPSHOT

I've all my datatypes starting from "datatype" (e.g. datatype.String, datatype.Integer etc) in the model

I've also mapped the datatypes in the mappings xml files (e.g. from:datatype.Integer - to:integer etc.)

I've also specified the absolute path to the mappings files in the build.xml

But it still keeps on giving me that error.

Thanks in advance for you kind help.

Nitin.

PS : Also wanted to know if i can send attachments with emails in this mailing list. My xmi, mapping files etc...
