yep: commenting out this line in project.properties did the trick :-) I
tried it with java 1.4.2 and 1.5

However, as I understand this cmd-switch, it should be set when using
the JDK 1.5 to keep the class-files backwards-compatible, but JDK 1.4.2
seems to complain about it.

Any Ideas how this can be managed without having to modify
project.properties?
