You can model an operation on the entity that could act as an attribute,
however there isn't any way to model non-persistent attributes, we could
probably add a tagged value to specifiy that, so feel free to file a
JIRA reques tor the Hibernate project (I'm assuming you're using
Hibernate?)..and we'll add it.
