OK, I looked at the mapping.xml files for both java and mysql.  what I don't 
understand is that in both xml files it appears that whether I designate an 
attribute a type Datetime[datatype] or a Timestamp[datatype] it will map the 
attribute to a java.sql.Timestamp in the javamapping.xml file and to just 
TIMESTAMP in the MySQLMapping.xml file.  Is one overwriting the other?  Or, is 
there another problem.  I don't see what could be remapped except to make the 
two files match each other.  Do you see a problem with that?
