Yeah we recommend Magic Draw, it has the most complete UML support and has modules (models that you can reference from other models). Poseidon works pretty well with andromda as well (however bpm4struts won't work with it because its missing some UML support that that cartridge expects). Poseidon has less to offer than magic draw however (less UML supprt, no module support, tag definitions aren't supported, etc). Other tools people have used as well (http://www.andromda.org/case-tools.html) but most of the time you have to do something to "fix" the XMI: they don't seem to work as well out of the box.
Quote: I'm really impressed with what I have seen so far. I am currently building our next project using this technology. I just want to get everything right so that we can be successful the first time and be able to use this for future projects. (end of quote) Cool, yeah understandable about wanting to get it right for the first time. Yeah I can't imagine developing a project without andromda now :) -- Chad Brandon - [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://www.andromda.org _________________________________________________________ Reply to the post : http://galaxy.andromda.org/forum/viewtopic.php?p=1096#1096 Posting to http://forum.andromda.org/ is preferred over posting to the mailing list! ------------------------------------------------------- This SF.Net email is sponsored by: NEC IT Guy Games.
