Importing a Poseidon XMI should work, I recently tried it. It will not be able to recover you diagrams since in UML 1.4 they aren't standard XMI elements, but use proprietary extensions instead.
What I always do is recreate empty diagrams and drag&drop the proper elements on there and have it laid out automatically, at last for class diagrams. For activity diagrams I would just model everything again. If you're having problems with MagicDraw it's probably related to the fact it chokes on Poseidon specific output. In practice XMI does not seem to be as portable as expected, I hope this improves in the future. -- Wouter Zoons - [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://www.andromda.org/ _________________________________________________________ Reply to the post : http://galaxy.andromda.org/forum/viewtopic.php?p=1246#1246 Posting to http://forum.andromda.org/ is preferred over posting to the mailing list! ------------------------------------------------------- SF.Net email is sponsored by: Discover Easy Linux Migration Strategies from IBM.
