Does anyone know (perhaps the cartridge author) why this is?  Is there a 
technical reason?  Or, is it perhaps an oversight?



I ran into the same issue, and thus I was thinking at taking a stab at 
modifying the cartridge so it could handle EmbeddedValue classes modeled as an 
association rather than as an attribute.  Before I go off an expend some 
effort, however, I'd like to insure I wasn't wasting my time!
