Hello chad and Wouter

Chad is correct that Enterprose Architect does not provide UML datatypes, it
only provides language specific ones. I hadn't realised this would affect the
ID generated by AndroMDA, I though it would only have an affect when I defined
some attributes. EA allows new datatypes to be added so I was going to do this
when I started modelling attributes. I was going to request a modification to
the UML tool compatibility info in the AndroMDA documentation to include a list
of the datatypes AndroMDA requires. I have looked at several sources of UML
info (books, internet search, UML 2.0 spec) and can only find the types for the
metelanguage not the UML modelling language. I haven't read all this just
looked in indexes and searched documents for various phrases so I could have
missed it. The only problem with defining new types in EA is that it desn't
allow you to specify the package that the types belong to. Will this have any
effect?

Thanks

Roger
