Without Eclipse the subprojects:core,common,web have target/classes but the project root doesn't.
This project is named Party App. maven clean logs: Starting the reactor... Our processing order: Party App MDA Party App Common Party App Core Business Tier Party App Web And it cleans and builds fine. Then I open the project in Eclipse which creates target/classes under project root. Now maven clean logs: Starting the reactor... Our processing order: Party App MDA Party App Common Party App Core Business Tier The Party App Notice "Party App Web" changed to "The Party App" and clean and build problems return.
