Hi.
I never have used oAW myself, but I just finished writing an article about Spring and MDA together with two guys that use oAW (Markus Völter and Eberhard Wolff). From what I learnt from them, oAW is more like a toolkit for building MDSD (model driven software development) generators. In does not come with pre-built cartridges. Instead, you'll have to build your own. Another big difference between AndroMDA dn oAW is that oAW has built-in support for parsing models that are not UML. You can easily define your own DSL and write a parser for it that instantiates the metamodel the generator can work on. In fact, you can do the same with AndroMDA (you just have to implement your own repository), but I do not know of anybody who has done that before. _________________________________________________________ Reply to the post : http://galaxy.andromda.org/forum/viewtopic.php?p=2569#2569 Posting to http://forum.andromda.org/ is preferred over posting to the mailing list! ------------------------------------------------------- This SF.Net email is sponsored by the 'Do More With Dual!' webinar happening July 14 at 8am PDT/11am EDT.
