Ok, cockpit error on my part. I hadn't exported the model into an XMI file again. But the question is how do I do that. I am using the community edition of MagicDraw and it does not have a File > Export menu as suggested in the help file. I only see the File > Import menu. I also tried to save the entire project as an XML file and renamed the extention as .xmi. But then I got the following error:
