Well, I am using the filter because I *know* I only need the "meta" cartridge. But from what you're saying, I deduce that, for that purpose, I'd better forget about the filter, and just declare the meta namespace in andromda.xml. The filter should then just be used for testing purposes, where you need several cartridges in the normal case, but e.g. you want to test just one of them at some point...
