there are two types or merges:
1. merging code into existing templates 2. merging your own templates into the cartridge (which often just is overriding) for (2): don't forget you can override the cartridge descriptors too, allow new templates to be inserted and also for (2): when specifying a directory it will be the location of the templates to be merged with the cartridges ones, overriding any with the same name I admit the wording is a bit confusing, I have to go to the docs sometimes too to check I'm doing it correctly .. we might change that mergeLocation property name the docs are wrong: </dependency> should be </namespace>, I've fixed it and will commit later today -- Wouter Zoons - [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://www.andromda.org/ _________________________________________________________ Reply to the post : http://galaxy.andromda.org/forum/viewtopic.php?p=3736#3736 Posting to http://forum.andromda.org/ is preferred over posting to the mailing list! ------------------------------------------------------- SF.Net email is Sponsored by the Better Software Conference & EXPO September 19-22, 2005 * San Francisco, CA * Development Lifecycle Practices Agile & Plan-Driven Development * Managing Projects & Teams * Testing & QA Security * Process Improvement & Measurement * http://www.sqe.com/bsce5sf _______________________________________________ Andromda-user mailing list Andromda-user@lists.sourceforge.net https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/andromda-user
