Media Alert: Visit of ASG for Legal Affairs A high-level Secretariat delegation, led by the Assistant-Secretary-General for Legal Affairs, Mr. Peter Taksoe-Jensen, is due to travel to Cambodia to meet with Deputy Prime Minister and Chairman of the Royal Government Taskforce on the Khmer Rouge Trials, H.E. Sok An, on 9 and 10 December 2008. The purpose of the meeting is to address a number of issues of common concern to the UN and the Cambodian authorities, hence continuing the cooperation that has prevailed since the establishment of the Extraordinary Chambers in the Courts of Cambodia. A short press conference is scheduled to take place on 10 December 2008 from 7:30 pm-8:00 pm.
