basically, the toolkit to run the TomTom go software on
zaurus/angstrom is ready to publish...

but before I do, I'm trying to ask TomTom whether they'd take
exception to releasing this tookit - my attempts to contact TomTom
hasn't been successful so far...

Basically, you to insert the card from a GO (which you must possess
for copyright/IPR reasons!), fire up a script and a few utilities, and
it extracts the files necessary and runs the GO navigation program.
The toolkit doesn't contain any TomTom files at all, but it might be
seen as an aid for people to violate TomTom's copyright /IPR, hence my
attempting to explain the situation to them and asking them whether
they would be able to sell the GO software and maps separately!

to be honest, the toolkit isn't particularly remarkable, other than it
brings together a lot of work by a few people, so anyone who can do a
bit of linux hackery can solve it once they know that the required
display driver patches for framebuffer are in the angstrom kernel, and
that you have to switch the zaurus into QVGA mode.
