I'm not a developer, so please get my message as a suggestion. I think you should join forces to obtain a "meld" of the two solutions. The Poky patch is better (IMHO), as it shows much more files than yours. It should not have all the devices icons on top (they are too similar and not intuitive), with only one icon that uses the bottom list to show devices, then tapping should "enter" that device and show files. You patch is better in reducing wasted space, and in making the requester full-screen (I had to manually configure matchbox to obtain it). The end result should be only one icon on the top bar (showing the devices), with the current path on the right, then 90% of the space taken by the file list, and a little bar on bottom with "open"/"save" and "cancel". I'm not sure if there should be a "go up" button or the canonical ".." on top of the list of files. BTW, thank you all for your efforts. They are greatly appreciated.
