Hi I have an iPAQ 3950. It won't boot angstrom from flash, and when I complained about it a few weeks ago, koen Kooi asked if someone would fix it. Nothing has been fixed yet, so I decided to look into it myself. I am just an amateur programmer, so I don't know how much help I can be. Maybe I will only be a pain in the ass, because I have to ask so many questions... ;-)
Well, yesterday I installed OE etc., and I started to build the stuff, but got errors. Something about to use gcc 3.x instead of 4.x (???). I finally deleted everything, and started installing from scratch again. But now there are multiple heads! [EMAIL PROTECTED]:~$ mtn --db=/home/thomas/download/OE.mtn checkout --branch=org.openembedded.angstrom-2007.12-stable mtn: branch org.openembedded.angstrom-2007.12-stable has multiple heads: mtn: 5bdc75c29fa81a2a02601bf8d748c2d93f0e2b2b [EMAIL PROTECTED] 2008-02-23T19:42:37 mtn: 8fe64b035e27e168f5dc96093c7bfc82828f4954 [EMAIL PROTECTED] 2008-02-23T18:35:47 mtn: choose one with 'mtn checkout -r<id>' mtn: error: branch org.openembedded.angstrom-2007.12-stable has multiple heads I read somewhere in the documentation that it is not good (...). Will it be fixed in the near future, or should I choose one of them? What if I get errors again when building? What is the best way to ask for help? IRC?
