I'm having the same issue that Matt was. in X I get a terminal that pops up and goes away, at a regular cmd line I just get the error. not being able to use menuconfig is a problem.
Gavin S Re: [Angstrom-devel] Cannot bitbake menuconfig: gnome-terminal exits prematurely Matthew Braun Wed, 22 Sep 2010 15:43:37 -0700 Maxim, thank you very much for your response! I exited X into the console, but when I bitbake, I get the error "Failed to parse arguments: Cannot open display: ". While I would be ok if someone would enable the AU0828 module for 2.6.32 in the feeds, I'd like to be able to get to the root of the problem, as I doubt i'm unique in having this issue (and solving it would help me learn). -- Matthew Braun mjbr...@leydenjar.com On Sep 22, 2010, at 1:47 AM, Maxim Podbereznyy wrote: > Is it possible to switch from X to console mode?
