Hi Mike--

You still having problems? I encountered this myself but I'm not sure why it showed up. I was building just fine but then something changed somewhere. I tried going the PREFERRED_PROVIDER route but honestly I don't know if that worked out well or not--the error messages went away, though.

In any case, I did a "./oebb.sh update" yesterday and that message is no longer showing up. I removed the PREFERRED_PROVIDER stuff I added to local.conf just to be sure. Instead I get some messages about preferred versions for those things (something like "wants 189" but only version available is "git"). Those were just warnings and the build went through and seems to have built a rootfs image. Haven't tried loading it up just yet.

So, I just thought I'd pass the info on to you in case it might be helpful to you. Something to try anyway.

Good luck!

Hi all - building a new Angstrom for the 'Bone. My image .bb file is a stripped

This usually means one provides something the other doesn't and should.

1) Which .bb is actually required?

2) I'm guessing the udev_182 is redundant. Which .bb files cause this build?

TIA,

Mike
