I'm having trouble mounting a Windows share using samba. First it told me that
the kernel didn't support smbfs, so I installed that kernel module.
I still get this error:
[EMAIL PROTECTED]:~$ smbmount //willow/share /media/net -o
username=kevin,password=xxx
ERROR: smbfs filesystem not supported by the kernel
Please refer to the smbmnt(8) manual page
smbmnt failed: 255
[EMAIL PROTECTED]:~$ mount -t smbfs //willow/share /media/net -o
username=kevin,password=xxx
mount: unknown filesystem type 'smbfs'
Is there something else that needs to be installed?
