After introduction of RoHS regulations (regulation of amount of lead in
the solder) European market with end-user CF WLAN cards become
uninteresting for most manufacturers. New devices without Wi-Fi and with
CF slot are really rare here.

I have been searching for a card two months ago in Czech Republic.
Nowadays you can buy mostly these here:
- Pretec CompactWLAN (802.11b): Should work.
- Socket P500 (802.11g): Contact Embwise for proprietary drivers. Older
Socket cards, which work with open source drivers, are out of
production.
- AmbiCom WL1100C-CF (802.11b): Should work, but specs write about 100mA
standby power. If it is true, it is bad for PDA. If it is a clone of
AirLive WL-1100CF, it is not true.

I purchased re-passed OvisLink AirLive WL-1100CF.

There is also good chance to buy supported second hand 802.11b cards.
In Germany you can contact people in Trisoft. They should have some
cards working with Zaurus.

Another possible chance is searching for industrial embeddable CF
modules (even CF/Bluetooth combo is in production). But it is hard to
get one piece of these devices.

Yes, it is. But I don't know about any card you can actually buy and
which will work with kernel 2.6. But please note, that you can never get
more than about 17Mb/s due to limitation of CF interface in Zaurus.

On most 802.11b cards it depends on uploading of a new firmware
(uploading to RAM is sufficient). Most Prism based cards are equipped
with WPA-less firmware.
