I have a Collie that I have had a lot of pleasure from (though no productive use of) over the last several years with Opie/OZ. I recently bought myself a Nokia N800 and the Zaurus is sitting on a shelf looking forlorn. I gather Angstrom is the future but have the impression that support for the SL5500 is still at an early stage. I would like to donate the unit to someone active in Angstrom development. I hope to find someone who is likely to be encouraged to advance development for this device by the donation. The unit is in working order and includes a CF wireless card. I am not expecting anything for it other than the satisfaction of making a small contribution to someone who is doing this valuable work.
Please send any suggestions about an appropriate home for this device to me off list. I will be away for a week starting in a few days so don't be disappointed if I do not reply for a while.
