  Yes, using all channels for announcement is good (subject to known
political map coloring), and angstrom-users would rather be a
recommended location for feedback, I guess.

   Please include ask for user to try Opie images whenever possible,
even if they don't think they will be using them. For example, for
PocketPC users with original 1st stage bootloader in flash (that
bootloader also known as WinCE), this is very easy, thanks to
http://linuxtogo.org/gowiki/WinCeQuickInstall . And please call for
any feedback to be posted - we really need to know how many people
keep an eye on this, to decide on how to move on. I'll for example
will post announcements on local forums, as usual ;-).
