Dear Paul,

the strange thing is that I manage to get exactly the same results as on the
GPE version of Angstrom. I installed the june8 image of opie, connected it to
usb ethernet, installed kernel-modules-mtdblock, did modprobe mtdblock and
forced reinstall of h2200-bootloader and then tried suspend.

It went into suspend. But it did not return. Then, upon a hard reboot and
return to the environment I had created earlier, I did it again, and it
returned.
But after a couple of seconds, screen clicks do no longer respond and the
whole system becomes locked up.

Unfortunately, after a hard reboot the log is lost because it is linked to
ram.

What might be the reason for this? I'm out of clues. Familiar had the same
problem. I'm doing nothing special, the device seems indeed to be a h2200
(after hard reboot, the very first screen, with the HP thing on it and the
progress bar, has 1.10 at the bottom right corner). On wm2003, it works
properly (hmmm, as far as ever of course) and I can suspend without any
problems.

Booting is from a Kingston SD 1gb card, but I have exactly the same thing when
I try it with an old 128 MB SD card. I make these SD cards with 2 partitions,
one of 8 mb and fat16, with haret, zImage.bin and startup.txt. The second one
has the root fs with ext2. I don't touch that many things before doing the
first suspend.

Best regards,

Maarten
