-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1 I'm trying to install angstrom on my hx4700. I want to do it in flash memory I flashed the following stuff on my hx 4700: SDG bootloader 1.2.3 Angstrom-opie-image-glibc-ipk-2007.12-r18-hx4700.rootfs.jffs2 zImage-2.6.21-hh20-r16-hx4700.bin
The problem is: the kernel doesn't detect the root filesystem. I get the following output before the kernel panic ====================================================== Uniform multi-platform E-IDE driver revision: 7.00 alpha 2. ide: assuming 50 mhz system bus speed for PIO modes, override with idebus=xx Probing hx4700-part0 at physical address 0x00000000 (32 bit bandwith) hx4700-part0: found 2 x16 devices at 0x0 in 32-bit bank Intel/Sharp extended query table at 0x010a Intel/Sharp extended query table at 0x010a Intel/Sharp extended query table at 0x010a Intel/Sharp extended query table at 0x010a Using buffer write method cfi_cmdset_0001: Erase suspend on write enabled Probing hx4700-part1 at physical address 0x04000000 (32-bit bandwith) hx4700-part1: found 2 x16 devices at 0x0 in 32-bit bank Intel/Sharp extended query table at 0x010a Intel/Sharp extended query table at 0x010a Intel/Sharp extended query table at 0x010a Intel/Sharp extended query table at 0x010a Using buffer write method cfi_cmdset_0001: Erase suspend on write enabled Concatenating MTD devices: (0): "hx4700-part0" (1): "hx4700=part1" into device: "hx4700-mtd" cmdline part partition parsing not available hx4700 MTD: using built-in partition definitions Creating 5 MTD partitions on hx4700-mtd: 0x00000000 - 0x00100000: "bootloader" mtd: giving out device 0 to bootloader 0x00100000 - 0x00300000: "kernel" mtd: giving out device 1 to kernel 0x00300000 - 0x04fc0000: "root" mtd: giving out device 2 to root 0x04fc0000 - 0x07fc0000: "home" mtd: giving out device 3 to home 0x07fc0000 - 0x08000000: "asset" mtd: giving out device 3 to asset pxa27x_udc: version of 01-01-2006 pxa_gpiodev_set_value(76,0) == some stuff about IO, and LED triggers == At the end it says: No filesystem could mount root, tried: jffs2 kernel panic: not syncing: unable to mount root filesystem on unknown block(0x0) ============================================================================= Anyone who knows this problem and can explain me how to get out of it? thanks a lot Janpieter Sollie -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v2.0.9 (GNU/Linux) Comment: Using GnuPG with Mozilla - http://enigmail.mozdev.org iEYEARECAAYFAkjjW8kACgkQ1OHO6ZFWHa60uwCbBBL4Idsh14pFmG2C7I5gVdD7 QRIAnRR2FMd12yGTInEal5NP8bAMq5j2 =8FHA -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- _______________________________________________ Angstrom-distro-users mailing list [email protected] http://lists.linuxtogo.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/angstrom-distro-users
