Hi guys, I tried a little with [ ] Angstrom-x11-image-glibc-ipk-2007.12-hx4700.rootfs.jffs2 with an old kernel [ ] zImage-2.6.21-hh20-r6-hx4700.bin which occasionally worked (after plenty of reflashings) on my hx4700 (with SDG bootloader 1.2.5) in the last days. As I had a complete system crash I reflashed and tried to reinstall but now ipkg update complains about not existing feeds. In case I change feeds to point to 2008 in the config files in /etc/ipkg ipkg update gives a lot of errors: crc errors during inflating, segmentation faults, and parse errors, never the less these errors are not precisely reproduceable, which is somehow a strange fact ipkg install xxx then complains mainly about md5sum mismatches, Bus errors and not downloadable archives. Normally the system fails completely or partially shortly after and refuses reboot forcing a complete reflash, every time.
However the black screen issue with a more recent image remains. Is there a way to work around without doing nasty tricks with external flashcards? Thanks for any help in advance - in case there is any additional information I may provide, please let my know. best regards Henning Koch _______________________________________________ Angstrom-distro-users mailing list [email protected] http://lists.linuxtogo.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/angstrom-distro-users
