Yeah, I did, assuming you meant
http://www.nslu2-linux.org/wiki/Angstrom/HomePage
but it went from suggesting the image to use, to logging in and i'm
stuck somewhere in between.
I presume you log in over ssh, but the image doesn't seem to fully boot.

I can't even ping it

PING 192.168.1.77 (192.168.1.77) 56(84) bytes of data.
>From 192.168.1.102 icmp_seq=1 Destination Host Unreachable

I know that that is the proper ip, I check using arp -a for network connections.

Did you have to modify the bin at all?

All that I did was take
Angstrom-base-image-glibc-ipk-2007.11RC3-ixp4xxbe-nslu2.bin
 from http://www.angstrom-distribution.org/unstable/images/ixp4xxbe/RC3/
as your entry suggests, and then

sudo upslug2 -i Angstrom-base-image-glibc-ipk-2007.11RC3-ixp4xxbe-nslu2.bin

and it flashes with full verification, and then the slug boots to a
error amber light

Thanks for any help you can give

Patrick
