Hello,
I just recently installed Angstrom on my h2200 ipaq using the
Angstrom-x11-image-glibc-ipk-2007.12-h2200.rootfs.img. I was able to
get my socket cf wlan adapter working utilizing spectrum_cs
ignore_cis_vcc=1 module options. However, I've run into a wall. I've
attempted to ipkg update which was successful then followed by ipkg
upgrade which was not successful.
During the upgrade the system locks up when configuring
kernel-module-g-ether. And it seems that upon reset the system locks
up any time I re-insert my socket cf wlan adapter. I've hard reset 3
times, upgraded 4 times and 4 times the result is the same as I have
so far explained them.
I've examined the wiki, the faq and searched the knowledge base using
Gmane. Apparently, others have also requested help for this issue. So
far, as much as I can tell, no answers are forthcoming. I don't expect
I will get any results here. But, we must try.
If someone could push me in the right direction that would be great.

Well, in the case there is anyone still alive on this list here is an
update:
I started over with a fresh image of the image noted in the original
post. I setup usb networking. I was able to completely update. However,
now that the update is completed when resetting the device it freezes at
the angstrom progress screen. Nice.
