I discovered that my boot.scr had a bad character in it wasn't being
read. I fixed the script and the problem seems to have gone away. I
don't know why the stable release didn't have a problem with my broken
boot.scr, but the unstable system does.

Hi,
I am using the Unstable branch (org.openembedded.dev) and am seeing
lots
of weirdness on the console. I have my terminal set to 115200 8N1 and
yet the console is displaying and receiving garbage once the kernel is
booted. I am able to login, but once I get the shell, all the
characters
are garbage.
I don't see this problem with the stable release. I can ssh to the
board
and it seems to work find.
What MACHINE?
I am using a beagleboard rev c4.

Any suggestions?
