OK great thanks i see that i need to add the psplash=false kernel parameter. My problem is that i cant find any information on how to do this. I have the sdg bootloader, is this the best one? Is there a program i can download to create a new bootloader image with the modified kernel parameters. Im very new to embedded linux so im kind of unsure where to look for this info as well.
I have just tried writing the kexecboot image to an sd card also and flashing the hx4700 with that one, but did not get the flash prompt when i restarted the hx4700, is this the correct way to do it? And is it better than sdg bootloader for what i need? Thanks!
