Greetings Angstrom users!

I have a problem with the Angstrom hwclock command.

I have an Beagleboard system, i have installed a module for the device using
opkg command.

I did

opkg kernel module of the real time clock

opkg list-installed shows rtc_tlw and rtc_core modules

After a reboot of the system hwclock works displaying the date

And I can modify the date of the real time clock using hwclok

hwclok – w (puts system time to hardware clock)

it works very nice.

When try to do it again after several reboots of the beagleboard system
randomly hwclock stops working it doesn´t work anymore.

It displays the message

hwclock: can´t open ‘/dev/misc/rtc’: No such file or directory

the rtc file is in the file system

/dev/rtc

If I try to load this file with the hwclock –f option

hwclock –f /dev/rtc

hwclock: can´t open ‘/dev/rtc’: no such device or Address

but the file is in the file system, I did a lsmod and the

rtc_twl and rtc_core modules aren`t loaded (doesn´t appear as before when
hwclock was working). I would like to use anytime the hwclock command
without any problem.

Could anybody please help to solve this problem.

Thank you very much.
