seems to work for me on my BBW anyway.

My plan is to hook up a SD-uSD adapter cable, and engage the lock switch on the 
SD-uSD container card that comes with the bone to verify that everything 
actually operates with the lock switch enabled (I assume its a read-only lock 
switch at least).  I haven't done this yet, however.
