It's quite hard to parse big blocks of code like that, it would be easier 
if it was in a plunker.
yes, I'm aware of that...
I guess it's an issue with libraries being incorrectly included or...the 
browser failing to parse something and thus Angular not having access to 
it. Because the url doesn't change to the default as specified in the 
router after the page get loaded. And I don't get any error messages.

Anyway I'll try alongside your suggestions.
