I have reason to believe there are some flaws in the implementation of updating SVG masks in Chrome & Safari. Have a look at this Plunker <http://plnkr.co/edit/tnCkKcvSf9NPUWPUisZF?p=preview> and see that (after you change the text in the input field) the DOM is not updated for mask changes in Chrome & Safari, but it is working in Firefox. The mask line is the upper one in red. The problem is not inside updating SVG definitions as is visible by the correctly updated blue text linked to the same SVG definition as the mask (inserted by <use xlink:href="#testdef"/>).
I'm developing an user infterface that depends heavily on SVG masks. Without your help I'm not able to finish this project, so I would love to see your opinion in this! (I'm running my tests on a recently fresh installed MacOS Sierra and can provide my recent browsers versions if needed) -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Angular" group.
